The first day of the Trapani Match Race started in beautiful Sicily today in top match racing conditions. The team had a very successful day with 4 wins and 1 loss. The conditions where lovely with 15 to 20 knots and perfect sunshine.
The Freshie Racing Team had some solid performances and continues to develop as a strong team. After losing the first match to the Russian match team the team regrouped to win their next 4 matches against some quality opposition. The Zip 25 yachts where relatively easy to handle being a heavy match racing boat.
Tomorrow is forecast to be similar to today, and the team is looking forward to the challenges that lay ahead. Thanks to RFBYC, Zhik, Ron Tough Yachting Foundation and Peter Chapell for the continued support.
