Freshie racing team has had a good start to the 2012 Warren
Jones Match Racing regatta in our home town of Perth. The day started off with
very heavy winds and teams sailing with reefed mainsails and jibs. The breeze
proved challenging for most competitors with winds slowly dying throughout the
day but we managed to keep the boat going finishing the day on 3 wins and 2
losses.
The Team is feeling confident in their boat handling and
tactics and are looking forward to racing tomorrow where we will be up against
David Chapman first who after day 1 has had no losses.
